Join us for exclusive training workshops for iPlace customers. Whether you want to press the limits of your creativity or transcend the barriers of business productivity, these workshop won’t disappoint. Learn how to work and play smarter and faster than your friends or co-workers.
All classes at iPlace have a maximum capacity of 5 people (unless otherwise noted), so call and reserve your place. Classes last one hour and include a question and answer period. These classes will be held at the listed times each week, unless iPlace is closed.
Mac 101 – FREE

- This course is your introduction to the Apple computer environment. Topics may include: Finder, System Preferences, Wireless Internet, Printers and Safari.

iLife Overview – FREE
Times: Monday at 12:00 pm or Saturday at 10:45 am

- This course introduces the new user to the capabilities of the iLife suite of programs: iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, iWeb, and iDVD. Topics may include: deciding which programs to use for a project, how all the programs work together, and developing a finished product.

iWork Overview – FREE

- This course provides an overview of Apple’s iWork suite (Pages, Keynote, and Numbers). Topics may include: creating documents, using templates, integrating media from other Apple programs and iWork/Office interfacing.

Photos on a Mac – $20
Time: Friday at 12:00 pm

- This course goes into detail about managing your photos with your Mac. Topics may include importing photos, organizing, color correction, exporting to the web, and creating books and calendars with iPhoto.
Mail, Address Book, iCal – FREE
Time: Friday at 1:30 pm

- This course provides an overview of how Mail, Address Book, and iCal work together. Topics may include syncing with multiple devices, adding calendars, setting up and sending email, and using these programs as a productivity tool.
iTunes and iPhone/iPod – FREE
Time: Saturday at 1:30 pm

- This course will go into detail about using your iPod/iPhone with iTunes. Topics may include importing CDs, downloading music and apps, watching movies, and syncing data.
